Finally!! I'm done. Not because the pic was hard and it took long, I mean look at it, It's not hard AT ALL! Drawing time was probably 6-8 hours. But stretched through out 3 and a half weeks. I've been busy. A lot of stuff going on.
STORY BEHIND PICTURE: This pic is based off a true story, sort of. I'm going to "TRY" to keep the story short and understandable.
()= Definition []= What it means
I had Staff Duty [Looking over HQ for a full 24 hours straight behind a desk] and it was boring, as usual. No big deal, I've done these duties many times before. Doesn't make it easier. 0300 hours and I was starting to get tired, coffee and energy drinks weren't working. I started doing the zombie walk around. "Why did I stay up so late last night? " Everybody was gone except for me, my NCOIC(Non-Commission Officer In Charge)[My boss for the night"Staff Sergeant"] and one other Runner(Private/Specialist to run errands and do dirty work)[take orders from NCOIC]. NCOIC went to the latrine, other runner was watching the desk and I was 'zombie' walking the premise. I saw the Battalion Commander left his office door open. The lights were out and I walked in just to check it out. It was so warm in there, he had comfortable leather office chairs. I couldn't help myself X) I sat down in one just to rest my feet, then my arms on the desk, then my head, then my eyes and... aw shit, I was out! I woke up to the light turning on. First thought was, "Aw crap, sergeant found me, gonna yell 'Wake your ass up! Get the hell out of the Commander's office!'" I wish...
...It was the Commander... and his wife... Lieutenant Colonel [How big is a Lieutenant Colonel? If Shinning Armour is a Captain then he is Shinning Armour's boss's boss. Lieutenant Colonel is just 2 ranks from being a General "I'm sure all you COD and BF guys already know that."] My thought seeing his face... "aw shit..." I jumped to my feet. His wife had this smile on her face like "HaHa, your in big trouble ". He asked me "You comfortable? Wanna sit in my chair? It's really comfortable. Go ahead, take a nap" "No thank you, sir" "You sure? It's cozy." "No thank, I'm good, sir" *shuffle to the door. shuffle to the door! almost there.* "Okay, if you insist" *phew, clear* Just before I left. "Go ahead and call your NCOIC over here." *damn*... Walk of shame to sergeant, who had no idea where I was. Told him "Commander wants to see you, sergeant." NCOIC "What. Did. You. Do"
So, Commander told Command Sergeant Major(Highest rank of the Enlisted field), I got yelled at by my whole chain of command. After my Staff Duty shift that day, I had 4 hours to rest and get ready for my second shift of 24 hour Staff Duty... Then again and again... SO MUCH FUN!!! I love Staff Duty 20 hours on, 4 hours off, for 4 days straight. YAY!
I guess that wasn't short at all Oh well, I did my best.
I remember the fire watch I had to do at basic, was not fun at all. 1 hour of walking the halls, making sure everyone was asleep, or sitting down and reading the regs... talk about BORING!
When I first came up with my OC, I wanted him to be an Earth Pony, but there aren't any in the Royal Guard. The pic I referenced off of had Pegasi and unicorns both white and grey. I thought it was right.
Thats how most entertainment is now and days.
I thought it was right.
